The Cordele Animal Shelter has many opportunities for those who wish to volunteer including:
- Adoption – Greeter, counselor
- Socialization/Training – Working with dogs and cats
- Spay/Neuter – Must be a licensed Veterinarian
- Education – Developing programs, youth
- Financials – Deposits, Excel spreadsheet
- Housekeeping – Cleaning the animals, shelter, and etc.
- Fundraising – Special events, raising $
- Office – Phone calls, emails, screen applicants
- Marketing – Newsletter, publications
- Transportation – Transporting animals to various rescues
- Foster Parent – Foster a shelter animal
- Other – Dog Banks, Shelter Display, Cartridge recycling

WHEEZER, THE WIGGLY WONDER PUP
Meet Wheezer but be careful, he'll run off with your heart!!
At around 2 years old and a health heartworm negative, this spotted sweetie is all about good vibes, goofy charm and making new doggy friends. He's currently 35 pounds but gaining healthy weight every day because he's a snack hog.
Wheezer loves other dogs so it would be nice if he had a canine buddy to romp with be he's definitely a "NO THANK YOU" when it comes to cats.
